About
Hi there, I am a Level 6 Clinical Massage Therapist, level 5 sports massage therapist and Practitioner in scar therapy and myofascial release at Podium Therapies based in Rhiwbina, Cardiff.
My approach focuses on restoring movement, reducing discomfort, and improving tissue mobility through gentle, effective hands-on treatment tailored to each individual.
Using advanced myofascial release techniques, I work with scar adhesions and fascial restrictions caused by surgery, injury, trauma, cancer treatment, or chronic tension. Treatments aim to improve scar tissue elasticity, ease tightness, reduce restriction, and support the body’s natural healing process while helping clients reconnect comfortably with their bodies.
I am a calm, compassionate therapist, who has gone through her own therapies and treatments, so can offer an empathetic, safe and supportive environment where treatments are adapted to your needs, whether you are seeking pain relief, improved movement, post-surgical recovery support, or help with long-standing scar sensitivity and restriction.

5 Reviews on “Sheree Phelps”
It was so lovely seeing Sheree again today for my second appointment regarding my 21 year old mastectomy scar. It is definitely not so tender to touch now especially where the drain scar is from where I had to have the saline reconstruction pouch removed due to an infection. Sheree was kind gentle and very respectful treating my scar as it is a very private and personal issue to me.
The scar is not so ‘puckered’ now and I can feel movement where it has been released from my rib bone. I have more freedom of movement under my arm when lifting it. All in all amazing on such an old scar ! Am very grateful to Sheree and in awe of her knowledge and skills
Really surprised at how much movement I have back after my tennis elbow op. As a professional athlete, it was really helpful knowing I could enhance my sports massage with the practicalities of scar therapy too!
The treatments have had a positive effect on how i feel about the scar and my physical functioning. I was apprehensive before the treatment started because i had not wanted to look at or touch the scar. I feel more confident about that whole part of my body, it feels less sensitive/uncomfortable and i can move better. For example I ran on running machine yesterday which is first time since op. I think the area feels less tense, i think i was probably holding it tighter before even though i was not intending to.
I can feel how i relax during the treatment and that continues afterwards.
I think having someone who feels confident that it can improve gives me confidence to do more e.g i do yoga and i can now lie on my stomach and know that it is going to be ok
Sheree performed scar massage for me following surgery I had in July. She was very knowledgeable and asked me a number of questions to ensure I received the correct treatment. My surgeon had previously said the scar could do with being loosened up as I required further surgery on the area. It helped a huge amount and the outcone of the surgery was better than expected because of this. I would recommend Sheree to anyone and think that scar massage can be particularly helpful and have benefits that dont seem to be known by many at this time.

This is from my client Joanna – she wanted me to post her review for her
I have received treatments from Sheree over a number of years and have total confidence in her. She recently treated a scar on my leg (a souvenir from a traumatic leg injury a few years ago), which was giving me some problems. The tightness has been relieved and I have much more feeling in that area than before. The leg moves much easier now and I have no hesitation in recommending Sheree and her expertise to anyone seeking help.
