Olivia Grace Trivun is the founder and director of Recovery Space AG, a specialised practice for postoperative and integrative rehabilitation in Switzerland. With more than 23 years of clinical experience, she has been working as a therapist since 2003 and has developed a particular expertise in postoperative care, scar and fascia therapy, and manual lymphatic drainage.
Since specialising in postoperative rehabilitation in 2017, Olivia has continuously expanded her clinical expertise in the treatment of scar tissue and fascial restrictions, with a strong focus on restoring mobility, tissue function and quality of life following surgery, trauma and complex medical interventions.
As a specialist in postoperative rehabilitation, Olivia is a Certified Scar- and Fascia Boeger Therapist, Certified Restore Scar Practitioner and Certified Caesarean Restore Scar Specialist. She is also a Certified Global Trainer for Restore Scar Therapy, sharing her expertise and clinical experience with healthcare professionals and contributing to the development of advanced scar therapy education. In addition, Olivia is a Fascia Maneuvers Coach and Fascia Mobility Instructor.
She combines specialised hands-on techniques with a comprehensive understanding of fascia, tissue mobility and movement. She has undertaken specialised training with leading scar therapy experts in the UK and is committed to bringing evidence-informed, hands-on approaches and international expertise into postoperative rehabilitation in Switzerland and the wider German-speaking region.
Her professional expertise has also led to increasing involvement in specialist education and interdisciplinary knowledge exchange. In 2026, Olivia contributed to the international SCARS Conference in Milan, presenting an e-poster entitled “Integrative Scar Rehabilitation: A Multidisciplinary Approach Addressing Pain, Sensory Disturbances, and Functional Limitations through an Integrative Care Model.”
In Switzerland, she contributes her expertise to professional education within the healthcare sector, including specialist education for Breast Care Nurses, Wound Experts and other professionals working in oncology, trauma surgery and postoperative care. Her teaching focuses on practical approaches to scar management, fascia therapy and integrative postoperative rehabilitation.
Through her clinical work, Olivia has built strong professional relationships with surgeons, clinics and healthcare professionals across German-speaking Switzerland. Patients are regularly referred to her and her team for specialised postoperative rehabilitation and scar management.
As demand for specialised postoperative care continued to grow, Olivia founded Recovery Space AG to create a dedicated space for comprehensive rehabilitation beyond the surgical procedure itself.
Her mission is to raise awareness of the importance of high-quality postoperative care and to establish rehabilitation as an integral part of the recovery process. At Recovery Space, she combines extensive clinical experience, manual therapy, scar and fascia treatment, lymphatic drainage, fascia mobility, movement therapy and patient education to provide individualised care — always focusing on the person behind the diagnosis.
“Recovery does not end with surgery. It begins with the right aftercare.”
