Nicola Kenworthy is an experienced Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Scar Therapy practitioner based in Reading, Berkshire.

Nicola originally trained in the Vodder Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage in 2014 and has continued to develop her lymphology knowledge through advanced training and regular updates with the Foeldi Clinic. She is also trained in Fluoroscopy Guided MLD through the Lymphoedema Training Academy and spent four years working alongside specialist nurses at the Oxford NHS Lymphoedema Clinic.

Her interest in scar treatment led her to complete MSTR® Scar Tissue Release training during lockdown, followed by further specialist training with RESTORE Scar Therapy.

Nicola particularly enjoys combining her lymphatic and scar therapy skills when supporting people following surgery and cancer treatment. Treatment is always individually tailored, with a focus on reducing swelling, improving scar mobility and tissue quality, easing tightness and discomfort, and helping people regain confidence and movement following surgery.

Alongside post-surgical and scar treatment, Nicola has extensive experience supporting people living with primary and secondary lymphoedema and is also qualified in compression garment measuring and fitting.

She is a full member of MLD UK and has over 12 years’ experience working with Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
