I’m a registered midwife with over 13 years of experience caring for women through pregnancy, birth, and recovery. Alongside a range of complementary therapies for pregnancy and postnatal care, I’m specialist-trained in scar tissue massage, scar release techniques, diastasis recti assessment, and diaphragm release for effective C-section scar therapy.

My interest in this work is personal as well as professional: after my own caesarean, I had no advice on how to care for my scar, even as a midwife, and thought it best to simply leave it alone — which, I now know, isn’t the best approach to recovery. That gap is what led me to pursue specialist training, and it now shapes how I treat every client: with a clear, informed approach to scar healing that so many women don’t receive as standard.

I provide dedicated Caesarean Scar Therapy, using targeted scar massage to support tissue mobility, reduce adhesions, and aid physical recovery following a C-section. I understand that a caesarean can bring emotional effects as well as physical ones, and I create an individualised treatment plan for each client that reflects that. As a midwife, I also welcome the chance to talk through your birth experience during treatment where that’s helpful. My approach combines clinical midwifery expertise with specialist scar treatment training for results that are both evidence-informed and personally understood.

Treatments take place in my private garden treatment room — a calm, relaxing space.. It’s easily reached by public transport, with free on-street parking nearby.
