Julie Randle – Restore Scar Practitioner

Julie Randle is the owner and lead therapist at Sports Therapy Centre in Hinckley, Leicestershire, with over 12 years of experience in Sports Therapy, Injury Recovery and soft tissue therapy.

Julie is a qualified Restore Scar Practitioner, having completed specialist scar therapy training with Restore. She is also qualified with HLP in Scar Therapy for general scars and C-section scars, and has completed specialist training in Post-Operative Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) with the Lymphoedema Training Academy.

Julie provides specialist scar therapy and scar treatment for a wide range of scars, including surgical scars, caesarean section (C-section) scars, hysterectomy scars, burn scars and scars resulting from injury or trauma.

Her approach is individualised to each client and the characteristics of their scar. Treatment can incorporate specialist scar massage and scar tissue massage techniques to address areas of restriction, adhesions, reduced tissue mobility and changes within the surrounding tissues.

For clients recovering from surgery, Julie can also draw on her specialist training in post-operative Manual Lymphatic Drainage, where appropriate, to support the recovery of the surrounding tissues.

Julie combines her specialist scar qualifications with more than 12 years of experience in Sports Therapy and Injury Recovery, allowing her to consider the wider impact of scar tissue on surrounding tissues, movement and function rather than treating the scar in isolation.

Julie is a registered member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA) and is committed to providing safe, professional and personalised treatment, adapting each session to the individual and their stage of recovery.

Scar therapy is available at Sports Therapy Centre in Hinckley, Leicestershire, for clients recovering from surgery, injury, burns and other forms of tissue trauma.
