Heather Dembling is the owner and Master Massage Therapist at Serenity Alignment in RTP – Durham, North Carolina, bringing more than 30 years of massage therapy experience to her practice. She specializes in therapeutic massage that incorporates deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, and myofascial release, oncology massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder MLD), and scar therapy, with a particular interest in supporting individuals affected by breast cancer surgery, radiation, and other surgical treatments.

As a breast cancer survivor herself, Heather brings both professional training and a personal understanding of the physical and emotional changes that can accompany cancer treatment and recovery. Her approach is therapeutic, individualized, and focused on helping clients feel more comfortable and connected to their bodies.

Heather trained one-to-one in Restore Scar Therapy with Emma Holly in London in May 2026 and continues to pursue advanced education in oncology scar therapy, oncology massage, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage using the Vodder Method in London in October 2026.

At Serenity Alignment, Heather provides a welcoming, women-focused environment where each session is adapted to the client’s needs for each session, learning their health history, providing comfort, understanding their goals, and for scar and oncology sessions, understanding the stage of healing. Her scar therapy, oncology, and MLD work uses gentle, specialized techniques designed to support scar and surrounding tissue mobility, ease areas of restriction and sensitivity, improve overall tissue comfort and movement, and proper lymphatic flow.
