I’ve been in healthcare for many years and a level 5 soft tissue therapist for the last 9 years and more recently qualified in scar therapy. I feel it’s important to take a holistic whole-person approach in both scar and soft tissue therapy and tailor treatments to individual needs and responses. I am qualified to treat surgical scars including caesarean and post cancer surgery scars and trauma scars. In your scar therapy session we discuss how your scar affects you, this may include pain, appearance, restricted movement and effects on bodily functions. Scar therapy treatment uses gentle techniques using starting with light massage around the affect area. I can advise on self care for your scar.
