My name is Susan Martin and I am based in Reading, Berkshire. Easily accessible from the M4, Bracknell and Wokingham.

After 30 years in a corporate, office environment, I took early retirement in 2016 and retrained as a Soft Tissue Therapist. I have additional qualifications in Scar therapy and Oncology massage along with a wealth of experience in sports participation and coaching. I regularly help people with work related postural issues, injured sports people and those living with cancer and the effects of treatment.

My scar therapy experience includes volunteering to work with Invictus Games athletes and burn survivors through Restore Therapy. I also regularly use my skills to volunteer with a local cancer charity – My Cancer My Choices. There, we offer a number of complementary therapies to those going through their treatment.

In my home clinic, I have seen clients for treatment on scars resulting from:

Serious Road Traffic Accidents,
Joint Replacements,
Open Heart Surgery,
Gall Bladder removal and
Cosmetic Surgery, amongst others.

Each of my treatments is client focussed and unique to you. I often use a combination of hands-on techniques and show you what homecare you can do to improve the outcome. I regularly update my skills and knowledge, am fully insured and am a member of the I.S.R.M. professional body.
