Sano is a multidisciplinary Clinic, that offer treatments that support you in your rehab journey. Whether post injury or surgery we have a variety of service to support your needs. We offer a small boutique movement space that offers a variety of functional movement classes, a clinical nutritionist, manual therapists that specialise in manual lymphatic drainage, scar therapy and oncology massage and a rehab coach that can help you with any musculoskeletal dysfunctions that may be impacting day to day activities. The clinic also has two infrared saunas, cold water therapy and a full body pneumatic suit (compression suit).
There is wheelchair access and ample free off-street parking.

I visited Zoe at Sand for a C section scar recovery treatment. She was absolutely lovely, inviting, proffessional and warm. What really stuck out to me, was Zoe’s kindness and empathetic nature around ensuring I was emotionally okay throughout the treatment, as some women foster a deep relationship (whether that be trauma, grief or underlying resentment or disassociation) with their scar. She made sure I was comfortable and understood the emotional and mental toll that birth can have on women – particularly in a C – Section outcome. I wasn’t expecting this as part of the service, but it was really lovely to have. My scar has seen significant improvement in both functionality and appearance in just TWO sessions. It wasn’t painful at all and I learnt a lot. Highly recommend for all C section mothers and also women who have experienced abdominal surgery (such as endometriosis). Thank you Zoe for bringing such a great service to Hawkes bay.
Scar therapy and C-section massage with Zoe Porter was excellent, I felt comfortable during our sessions and gained understanding about my body and how to facilitate it’s healing. very informative and great advice given towards stretches n exercises I could do to help with varying issues. Great service provided and a very welcoming and positive atmosphere!!
