I’m a qualified Midwife with over 16 years of NHS healthcare experience, including high-risk cardiac care, oncology, and women’s health.
I’m trained in Restore Scar Therapy and support clients with oncology and post-surgical scars, including breast, abdominal, trauma, and radiotherapy-related scars.
I was drawn to this work through my MLD practice, as I saw how significantly scarring can affect people. I also noticed that some clients with abdominal scars were struggling with symptoms such as constipation or IBS, and that addressing scar tissue could support their overall comfort and function. It felt like a natural progression, as these approaches work closely together to support healing.
My work combines scar therapy, scar tissue massage, and gentle manual lymphatic drainage to improve comfort, movement, and tissue health.
I take a whole-body approach in my clinic, also offering colonic hydrotherapy to support the gut, microbiome, and nervous system. I believe that when we support the body as a whole, we create the space for healing and recovery.

I recently went for a scar therapy session with Violet. Having scars in certain places can make some feel a bit anxious, however this was not the case with Violet. I felt instantly at ease and not embarrassed at all about my scar.
My reason for reaching out to Violet was because I was experiencing significant pain along my scar area. In addition to this I was having trouble with reduced movement in my arm.
During the session Violet made my experience very comforting. She provided a full consultation ahead of the treatment, in order for her to have a better understanding of where the pain was and how it was affecting me. This benefited me massively. I have definitely felt an improvement in the movement of my arm as well as reduced pain along the scar area.
I have learnt a lot from our visit and am in a much better position to look after my scar. Thank you , Violet.
Violet has worked wonders on my 16 year old breast cancer scar tissue, which had extensive “crording”. She took great care to understand my problems with skin tightness. She did gentle massage on the scar tissue, and showed me exercises/massage to do at home, with great improvement. A wonderful help. Highly recommend.
