About
Beth qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2007 after graduating from Cardiff University. She began her career within the NHS, specialising in Trauma & Orthopaedics. During this time, she worked at one of London’s Major Trauma Centres, where she developed significant expertise in managing complex polytrauma cases, including patients with limb loss and limb difference.
In 2016, Beth moved into the specialist field of amputee and prosthetic rehabilitation at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where she spent seven years refining her skills within a highly specialised service before joining Dorset Orthopaedic private clinics in 2023.
Beth is trained in scar therapy, further strengthening her ability to support patients who have experienced trauma or undergone surgery. She frequently works with individuals where scar tissue plays a significant role in restricting movement or causing discomfort. Integrating scar therapy into her wider rehabilitation approach has been game changing, enhancing tissue mobility, improving comfort and maximising functional outcomes.
