Kate joined the Dorset Orthopaedic – Manchester clinic in 2021 as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist.
Following qualifying in 1999 she completed junior rotations followed by a static post at Southport Spinal Cord Injury Unit. In December 2002 Kate started work at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Headley Court in Epsom, Surrey. In 2005, Kate began seeing more conflict trauma and traumatic injury cases which resulted in her being involved with setting up the complex trauma rehab service, working closely with the P&O team to create the best holistic outcome for patients. She completed her MSc in Rehabilitation Studies with the University of Strathclyde in 2012.
Having an extensive background in trauma rehabilitation, Kate has now brought her expertise to Dorset Orthopaedic. Kate specialises in multi trauma complex injuries and scar management; including compression therapy, scar massage and silicone therapy.
