Hi. I’m Sarah Fitzgerald, Lic.Ac., MBAcC; a fully qualified and licensed practitioner and a member of The British Acupuncture Council and a RESTORE Scar Therapy Practitioner.
My Acupuncture work with Chronic pain, post-surgical and postnatal patients made me pursue my personal interest in training in Scar Therapy, as I wanted to be able to offer more in terms of recovery and true holistic care to my patients.
I studied Acupuncture at the City College of Acupuncture, London and graduated with a First degree level Licentiate.
I am a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network, having completed integrated PostGraduate level training and committed to ongoing Postgraduate study in the areas of Gynaecology and Fertility, with an emphasis on Assisted Conception.
I am also an AXA Healthcare Registered Provider for Medical Acupuncture
My Acupuncture and Scarwork Practice is my second career; which I came to following a Banking career in both the City of London and Auckland, New Zealand. It was during my time in Finance that I first experienced acupuncture as a patient, both for sports injury and for symptoms arising from a stressful job. Since then, it has been part of maintaining my physical and mental wellbeing.
A time of professional and personal re-assessment led to me to my three years of study under some of the UK’s top Acupuncturists and the founding of Koru Acupuncture. My research into Scar Therapy then led me to my training under Emma Holly to add to my skills and become a General RESTORE Scar Therapy Practitioner.
