Emma Holly
Emma is a specialised clinical scar massage therapist, a leader in her field, with a reputation for excellence. Well known for being able to get results using non-invasive treatment approaches. With almost 30 years of experience as a therapist, Emma is leading education in scar therapy and regularly teaches to NHS and private hospital staff, as well as therapists working in private practice with courses in UK and internationally.
In her clinic Emma uses a combination of Restore Scar massage, the vacuum or negative pressure medical device LymphaTouch and also Deep Oscillation medical device. These non-invasive approaches should not be very painful and can incrementally improve your scar. Seek treatment early for best results, but scar tissue can improve even decades after an injury.
Emma has taught scar therapy courses to the Military of Defence occupational therapy team and to therapists at UKs leading cancer hospitals. The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) awarded Emma as Highly Commended Complementary Therapist of the Year 2017. Emma loves to give back and lead a team of volunteers with Help for Heroes and has provided a team of therapists to support the Invictus athletic team, delivering over 550 treatments 2017 – 2022, and supported Dans Fund for Burns with free therapy treatments at their wellbeing event in 2023. Over 2,000 free scar therapy appointments have been provided via the Restore Therapy Pledge, and we aim to reach 5,000.

I had a total knee replacement and due to excessive scar tissue the flexibility in my knee was not responding to physiotherapy at the rate required after six months. I had manipulation under anaesthetic followed by laser removal of the scar tissue that unfortunately promptly returned. After two sessions with Emma the improvement was better than I had expected. I am eagerly awaiting further sessions to get me on the road to recovery. Thank you very much Emma.
I’ve had amazing results from Emma that have given me my normal life back!!
I was referred to Emma after mastectomy & reconstruction surgery left me in some pain, uncomfortable and struggling to sleep. I was resigned to more surgery.
I don’t understand how her techniques work, but they absolutely do! Emma’s advice & practices for self care are thoughtful, clear & easily managed too.
My pain has reduced significantly, my movement range has increased and I can now sleep comfortably.
Thank you Emma and team for your healing hands, care, understanding & commitment to promoting the benefits of scar therapy.
Expertise knowledge. Worth every penny.
