Shannon completed her Registered Nursing degree in 2006 and went on to work in Emergency Nursing for approximately 14 years. The last 5 years has seen her move into the Primary Health Care space as a Practice Nurse where she found an interest in lymphoedema and scar therapy. She completed her Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner (Casley Smith Method) training in 2023 and is a member of the Australasian Lymphology Association. In 2025 she completed the Restore Oncology Scar Therapy course to further complement her lymphoedema treatments and assist her patients. Shannon also has an interest in assisting those with Lipoedema conditions.
