Lauren is a HCPC registered physiotherapist with over 16 years’ experience in amputation and limb loss rehabilitation. She specialises in upper limb and lower limb amputation and has significant experience managing trauma-related injuries and scar tissue.
She regularly undertakes scar massage, cupping and compression therapy with her patients and is always keen to explore advances in practice within this area.
Most of Lauren’s patients have significant scar tissue (from trauma or surgery) so completing the Restore training has enabled Lauren to optimise her practice within this area and to ensure that her client’s movement and function is optimised through appropriate scar tissue management.
