I am an experienced RGN having worked in both the community and acute sectors. I undertook additional training as a Midwife and completed my specialist practice in District Nursing and completed my BSc. Following a family health issue I developed an interest in Lymphoedema. For over twenty years, I worked within a hospice setting providing lymphoedema management for all forms of lymphoedema. This included: holistic assessment, compression therapy, MLD and skincare. In addition, I was the complementary Therapy Team Leader and this enhanced my understanding of the holistic nature of health and wellbeing. I have undertaken training in several modalities that provide me with a comprehensive knowledge and experience of people at all stages of life. My experiences as both a midwife and mother have fostered a passion for women’s health.
