I’m Amy Poole, a fully qualified Scar Therapy Practitioner based in Bristol. I specialise in C-section scar therapy and rehabilitation and other abdominal scarring. I’m passionate about your journey of recovery and understand how impactful these surgeries can be on every aspect of your wellbeing. I use over 20 years of experience and non-invasive scar therapy alongside other modalities to get the best outcomes for you. You’ll leave with a better understanding of your scars, your treatment options, and how to best help yourself at home so you feel confident in your own body again.
I qualified with a 1st class degree in Sports Rehabilitation, and quickly started to specialise in postnatal recovery. This lead me to work with many wonderful C-section mums over the years after becoming a fully certified scar therapist and educator. I also have varied experience working with individuals after top surgery, hysterectomies and orthapaedic surgeries such as hip and knee.
My treatments are always specific to your needs, symptoms and goals. Most importantly, they are gentle and driven by your comfort levels. Hands on techniques are light, restorative and appropriate to your stage of recovery whilst use of the Lymphatouch device helps to mobilise fascial layers to promote healing and mobility.
