I have a lovely purpose built clinic at the end of my garden. I have been a Massage therapist for nearly 30yrs now treating many people from office workers to athletes and generally active people from all walks of life.
Since 2020 when I qualified I have since gone on to regularly help as an Experienced Classroom assistant at many of the Restore Scar Therapy courses that Emma Holly and her team offer up and down the country.
Along side my main stream Massage work I offer scar therapy treatments for any surgical scars and burns. I have a special interest in Oncology due to my own breast cancer journey in 2018. Thats what lead me to train in this wonderful therapy as I experienced the wonderful release of discomfort and mobility issues after my surgery and radiotherapy having received treatment not only during my training but attending on the free scar clinics.
I also offer a 30min post op c-section (3-4weeks) scar assessment home visit.

Have been seeing Jane since my mastectomy and DIEP reconstruction in 2021. She has made a huge difference to my recovery and my body always tells me when I haven’t been for a while. An informal (but professional), clean, welcoming, warm treatment room reflects the therapist and I really can’t recommend her enough. For those of you who are sceptical, or not really heard of scar therapy before – like I hadn’t – go and give it a go.
Its been a journey of discovery for both of us. So glad you have had some great results along the way.
I’ve seen Jane for several sports injuries/ issues over the years and always been impressed.
I recently learnt she is trained in scar therapy so contacted her to ask if she would be able to help with some abdominal scar tissue I had, from two previous laparoscopic surgeries I’d had for endometriosis.
The results have been outstanding.
Prior to my surgeries I was an avid runner but that all stopped due to continuing abdominal pain and a ‘pulling’ sensation in my left hand side due to scar tissue. I saw Jane for several scar therapy sessions and could immediately feel some relief in my problematic areas.
She also gave me some exercises to do to strengthen my hip area. After completing these for 4-6 weeks I am back running again and have been in little to no pain. This is the longest period of minimal pain/ pain free time I can remember in nearly 5 years!

I’ve been seeing Jane since October for my c section scar which is a year old. Before seeing Jane I had some numbness and pain around my scar as well as some pulling from the side, I also had bad pain around the scar during my period and it had quite a ‘tucked in’ appearance. Jane has done an amazing job with my scar, it looks so much better and is a lot flatter now. After a few sessions, the pain, pulling and numbness in that area has massively reduced such that I forget about my scar most days, and I no longer get bad pain there during my period. She also worked on my laparoscopy scar which is about 6 years old and improved the appearance of that too, despite it’s age! Jane is really lovely, kind and gentle, her garden room is lovely, clean and well presented too. Highly recommend for scar massage!
