I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2008 and I’ve worked in the NHS for over 16 years, gaining a vast amount of experience in all fields of physiotherapy before settling into musculoskeletal physio over 10 years ago. This is when I developed a special interest in oncology physio, particularly breast cancer and scar management.

What I Treat:

I use a combination of treatment methods that include massage, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, acupuncture, vacuum therapy / cupping (Lymphatouch), kinesiotaping and exercise.

– Rehabilitation following breast reconstruction (eg DIEP, thigh flap, implant-based reconstructions, Lat Dorsi Reconstructions)
– Rehabilitation following breast cancer surgery (eg mastectomy, lumpectomy, sentinel node biopsy, axillary node clearance)
– Cording
– Radiation Fibrosis
– Scars (eg from breast cancer surgery, cosmetic surgery, c section, trauma)
– Joint pain & stiffness
– Side effects of cancer treatment (eg peripheral neuropathy, fatigue, muscle mass loss)
– Menopausal symptoms
– Post-operative swelling (liposuction, tummy tuck, facelift, mummy makeover, fat dissolving / fat freezing)
