In my practice, I offer a range of specialized services, including traumatic scar massage, which helps to improve the appearance and functionality of scar tissue. I also provide trauma-informed adaptive yoga, which is a gentle and safe way to practice yoga that is specifically tailored to individuals with trauma histories. Additionally, I offer meditation classes that are customized to meet the unique needs of each participant.
My goal is to help people find the wellness practices that work best for them and to provide them with the support and guidance they need to achieve optimal health. I take pride in my ability to make a positive impact on the lives of those I work with, and I am constantly learning and growing to provide the best possible care.

After two botched surgeries on the palm of my hand, and a third to repair the damage they caused, I was left with a mass of scar tissue starting from below my ring finger to past the centre of my palm. The palm around the svar was constantly hot and red. This scarring resulted in my thumb being permanently pulled towards my palm and unbearable cramping through the day, coupled with a permanant spasm in my arm muscle just below my elbow.
In just two short gentle treatments, Kara was able to work the scars in such a way as to allow my thumb to fall back into to normal position and put a permanent end to the cramping. The spasm in my arm has subsided, and the colour of my palm is back to normal.
I cannot recommend Kara enough, her treatment was a life-changing, and has given me back almost the full use of my right hand … and all after almost a year of physio and occupational therapy where I had been told my hand would never get any better than the condition it was in when I presented the challenge to Kara!

I have seen Kara twice for scar treatment following a mastectomy with lymph node removal. I had been suffering from pain along the incision sites, constant muscle spasms, and stiffness in the area. I was very surprised by how such a gentle treatment could make such a difference. On the way home from the first treatment, It felt like everything had been rearranged in the my upper body. I had persistent pain in my rib cage near drain scars and that has completely gone away. The spasming is greatly reduced, and the mastectomy scar pain has improved. I plan to continue to see Kara for more work on my scars and my only regret is not getting the treatment sooner!
