I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2008 from Oxford Brookes University. An interest started in Oncology after a period of time working on the Oncology wards of a large London based hospital. When life moved me away from London, I realised my local oncology physiotherapy service was limited, and subsequently completed a PINC cancer certification to help women, using my physiotherapy skills, moving through a cancer journey. In June 2023, I completed the restore oncology scar course and have incorporated these hands on skills with great success, I’ve been amazed at the results the scar work is having on those I work with and love combine my exercise knowledge with a ‘hands on’ approach to gain the best outcomes in my patients. I treat with a mixture of advice, education, hands on therapy and exercise based treatment.
