Vickie has been running her own private Sports Massage clinic for 21 years. However, since 2018 Vickie has specialised in Scar Therapy, firstly in Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork, then with Emma Holly at Restore Therapy. Vickie is able to provide bespoke Scar Therapy for scars as a result of surgery, injury or burns. Vickie is one of the Restore Therapy Tutors so has a high level of knowledge and experience ranging from c-sections to knee replacements and reconstruction surgery following cancer treatment to spinal surgery and everything in between. Working with Restore Therapy has enabled Vickie to volunteer to work with Invictus Athletes and at Dan’s Fund for Burn Survivors. In addition to her hands on therapy Vickie incorporates Deep Oscillation Therapy, LymphaTouch and taping techniques to get the best possible outcomes. But her therapy doesn’t stop in the clinic, Vickie encourages home care and exercises as well as the use of specialised scar therapy products.
