Assisting you in regaining confidence, enabling you to engage in activities that bring you joy, move and breathe more easily, wear the clothes you want and experience less discomfort while doing so, is what fuels my passion in this work.
With over 20 years of experience and extensive training in bodywork and movement teaching, I integrate scar therapy and lymphatic massage with breathwork and movement coaching to help bring new levels of freedom and confidence to your life.
Central to my practice is our partnership in understanding your unique story behind your challenges and your aspirations. Together, we’ll work towards your goals, with each session customised to your needs. I will treat your scars, provide guidance on self-care, breathing exercises, simple movements, and daily habits to support your healing journey.
My focus primarily lies with clients bearing pelvic and abdominal scars, as well as those with scars from cancer treatments, encompassing surgeries, port, and radiation scars. Drawing from extensive experiences in core and pelvic health, as well as personal encounters with cancer treatments, I bring a deep understanding to my clients’ needs.

As a movement therapist and medical herbalist I know how important it is to release scar tissue. Scars affect healthy lymphatic flow (as a lymphoedema movement therapist I know the dangers of lymphoedema post-surgery only too well) and can also cause aches and pains or cramps in other areas of the body. After my own lumpectomy (breast cancer), Ramona treated my scar. Her gentle and effective treatment supported my body but also helped me to deal with the anxiety following the cancer diagnosis. She also showed me how I could work on my scar on my own which has been very helpful over the years following my cancer. My scar is barely visible (although it was rather large) and the tissue is healthy and pliable. I recommend Ramona to all my clients following surgery, even if they don’t live close to her. Ramona has a deep and insightful understanding of the body and the ways it heals. When I had emergency surgery, I knew that I needed her to work on my scar even before I left the hospital. Her work was sensitive and so specific to the way my body wanted to heal. From the right creams to the right exercise , Ramona also encouraged an attitude of resilience and gave me healthy practices that I still use even today. Her treatment of my scar was incredibly comprehensive. If I had not worked with Ramona, I might not have had the full functioning of my left leg as the scar tissue would have severely impeded my movement. I was recommended Ramona by my sister after my cancer operation. I needed the care and support provided by Ramona which helped me greatly physically and mentally. I’m extremely grateful to Ramona for the work she did on my scars after the major surgery. She understood my needs and understood the vulnerability of revealing my operative scars. Her methodology, knowledge, kindness, patient and careful work over a course of weeks was hugely beneficial and enabled me to also use the right creams and properly attend to healing my scars. This is really important self-care for fully healing from my operation. I see Ramona regular bases after my three months consultation with the hospital and discuss with her the outcome of the consultation which helps me greatly to understand how my check up are going on. I am so happy that I booked a session with Ramona! Following my laparoscopic hysterectomy 3 months ago, I hadn’t really given my scars a huge amount of thought because I haven’t felt particularly bothered by them but decided a little self-care would make a nice treat. The massage and treatment left me with a feeling of real comfort and a sense that the tissues underneath had somehow loosened up and relaxed a bit. It’s hard to explain but I definitely left thinking ‘wow, that was so good!’. I didn’t even know I needed it but it feels like the treatment has helped the healing along in a very positive way.
