I am an Occupational Therapist and have worked with scars for over 6 years. My passion for scars started after working in a specialist rehabilitation centre for the Armed Forces, treating service personnel with amputations, burns and trauma injuries. Since then I’ve worked in the private and charity sector and have treated a broad range of scars.
Most recently, I have seen friends and family members having C-section births, with no after care advice on their scars. This made me sad, and prompted me to look for additional training, and I have since qualified as a specialist in C-Section Scar Therapy, and continued to complete my Oncology Scar Therapy Specialist course.

I love seeing you and your scars change, and get excited when I see the difference from week to week! Being able to support you to wear the clothes you love, do the things you love and have less pain and more movement in doing them, are the reasons I love my job.
